Whew! The past four days have been insanely busy. Its been a good busy, but busy nonetheless. Wanna know what we did? Good, cause I have some pictures to go along with my babblings. :)
We started our Thanksgiving morning on the couch watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,
then we went to Mimi and Poppie's for lunch and played all afternoon in the backyard.
Daniel and I got a picture together, which happens about twice a year. So this was an added bonus to our week/weekend!
Then we successfully got a group picture with Daniel's family,
and a couple days later we almost got a successful picture with the my family...
and then, as soon as the picture was taken, my son ran off.
We got to spend time with most of my cousins on my mom's side of the family,
and Zachariah met his adorable second cousin (or something like that).
We got to spend time with my Auntie Jan (who we adore),
and Zachariah took a ride in the golf cart with Pops...
Whew! I told you we were busy. But a good kind of busy. Throw in a couple of photoshoots, me making my first pumpkin pie, deviled eggs, broccoli casserole, swirled cream cheese pumpkin bars and that concludes our weekend! We had so much fun spending time with our family and eating the most delicious food on the face of the planet! Seriously. It was such a great weekend.
What did you and your family do for Thanksgiving?

Very Brief Thanksgiving Post
Hey everyone!
I just wanted to stop in and make sure everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving!! We still have one more Thanksgiving gathering to go, so I will post pictures and stuff later. But for now I wanted to show you what Zachariah made in Sunday School last week.
I have been looking forward to the day where I can put my kids crafts on my fridge for a while, and that day finally came! I know my house will eventually be taken over by little Sunday school crafts (and down the road, crafts from school), but I am loving it right now. And Zachariah is just beside himself when he sees his hands on the fridge every morning. :)
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I will be back later with more on our celebrations!

Pith Helmet
I have another post or two coming later, but until then I wanted to show you a few pictures we took on our walk a few days ago. On this particular day Zachariah had been obsessed with his "pith helmet", so he decided to model it for me. I thought he looked adorable!
And here is a picture that Daniel took of me and my favorite kid. Due to the fact that I am always behind the camera, very few of these pictures exist. So I get pretty excited when one shows up. :)
Hope everyone has a great day!

Birthday Post
Happy Birthday to my favorite brother!!!
Oops. I probably shouldn't say that. My other brother might get mad at me. Sorry, Dustin! It was just a slip of the fingers. :)
So yeah, my airman brother turned 23 today! It kindof stinks that I cant see him on his birthday, but he will be home for Christmas, so I can give him his imaginary birthday gift then. Hee hee.
Hope you had a great day of birth, Wesley! I cant wait to see you in a few weeks!!

What we have been up to
While most of this post is going to be dedicated to what Zachariah has been up to, I thought I would give a few updates on what Daniel and I have been up to as well.
Daniel has been working at his new job for almost two months now. We are both loving this job SO much more than his old one. He is loving the people he works with and he is able to design a lot more, which is what he enjoys. And Zachariah and I are loving his flexible schedule! So this job gets two thumbs up from everyone in the family. :)
I have been practicing my photography butt off. I have had at least one, sometimes two practice sessions a week for the past month and I have three more coming up. And I am still loving it. I am so glad to find something that I enjoy doing! Being a stay at home mom is very trying on my sanity and patience, so I am very grateful for this outlet. It makes me feel a little more normal when I am able to interact with people that are over the age of two.
Oh, and on a little bit of a random note... I cleaned out my pantry the other day. Besides the countless number of canned goods, chicken stock, cans of peanuts and bags of muffin mix, I found these...
As you can tell, we love pasta. We eat at least two pasta meals a week. But most of these boxes of pasta have been in my pantry for 6 months or so. Why does a family of three need this many boxes of pasta?? I don't even know why I have some of that stuff.
Ok, enough about pasta. Lets move on to what Zachariah has been up to, shall we?
This is our entertainment center. Well, some of it anyway. The only time I really take pictures of our entertainment center is when Zachariah is playing peek-a-boo inside of it, so you will have to work with this incomplete picture.
Take note of the doors. If you look closely you will see that there are two. One of the left and one on the right. Has everyone counted the doors?
Good. Now take a look at this picture of our entertainment center that was taken this morning.
Alright class, can anyone guess what is missing? Yes, you there. Little girl on the front row.
What? You say a door is missing? Why yes. I think you are right!
That would be the handiwork of my son. He decided to use the door as a springboard while watching TV and split the door in half, leaving nothing but the hinges. Fabulous.
When Zachariah is not destroying furniture, he has lately be found "fixing" his bus,
or taking care of his baby.
He has had an attachment with this thing for a few months now, and it is ADORABLE. He will randomly ask to change baby's diaper, he will share his toys with baby and he has even started sharing his paci's! I must admit, it has been very cute watching him interact with this baby doll. :)
Alright, that concludes my rambling updates. What have you guys been up to? Anything new or exciting? I would love to hear what has been going on in the lives of my very few readers. :)

Hot Cross Buns
Zachariah has found a new favorite instrument. Nothing will ever trump his love for the drums or guitar, but playing the recorder has become a daily occurrence in this house.
It is just too cute for words. But I am hoping to put together a video of him playing all of his instruments soon, so give me a few more days (well, maybe weeks) and you will be able to see the cuteness for yourself! :)
Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

I've Got The Fever
Last Thursday Zachariah and I went out to a friends house and took pictures of her newest family member. He is seven weeks old and just about the sweetest baby ever! I had a lot of fun taking his pictures, but this is pretty much the only good one I got...
HA! Just kidding. But I thought it was hilarious, so I had to put it up here. :) Here are a few more from our visit!
Until next time...

Quirks
This is Zachariah's crib:
The bumper pad has pretty much reached the end of its life. Over the past couple months Zachariah has torn off the strings that tie the bumper to the crib rail (some of them were torn off by accident, but these last few have just been to see what kind of reaction he can get out of me).
Since most of the ties are no longer attached, the bumper doesn't really serve much of a purpose. It just kind of sits there all wimpy looking. Right when I was getting ready to take it off of the crib completely, Zachariah came up with a creative way to use it!
He basically sections off his crib with the bumper. As soon as we put him in his crib (for nap and for the night) he crawls around and starts arranging everything. It is absolutely HILARIOUS to watch. And in case you were wondering, he sleeps in the larger section and then sometimes puts a stuffed animal in the smaller section. It is quite frankly the weirdest thing ever, but it makes him happy. Which ends up making me happy.
I guess the bumper will be staying on the crib for a little longer.
Moral of the story: I have a weird kid. :)

The T-I-M and His Super Awesome Wife
Here are some pictures I took last week of our friends Tim and Nan and their cute little dog. I won't write too much because Nan will just end up skipping over this anyway. But I wanted to at least introduce you all. :)
Ladies and gentlemen... Tim and Nan!
Oh, and I will give a Milk-Bone to the canine lover who can guess the dogs name. :)

Rant
I am sitting in the living room with a to do list a mile long. I have pictures to edit, rooms to clean, clothes to fold, and food to put away. Instead of doing any of that, I have decided to sit here and ramble for a while. I bet you are just jumping for joy. :)
I tried on two occasions to go shopping for Christmas decorations today. Hobby Lobby and Michael's are both having some pretty good sales, and I wanted to browse and see if there was anything that struck my fancy. I am very indecisive, so I wanted Daniel along to help me decide what would look best in our house. That meant Zachariah had to come along as well. Which meant that he ended up screaming at the top of his lungs because I did not allow him to roam freely around the store. Which meant that we left soon after we got there. Call me crazy, but I want to enjoy my shopping experience.
I know my last post was talking about how cute my child is, and my opinion on that subject has not changed. But having a toddler really gets on my nerves sometimes.

I love my kid
There are days where I am completely overwhelmed by my son's cuteness.
Today is definitely one of those days.

Family Fun!
Last week I dragged my neighbors downtown so I could use them for some much needed photography practice. I had never even attempted taking pictures of a family before, so I was very grateful for their patience. I changed my mind and moved them around so many times, its a wonder they made it out alive! Oh, and might I add that the kids were SUPERB! I am super glad I got to practice on them. I have a lot to learn about taking family pictures and they made it easy for me to learn as I was going. :)
Without further adieu, here are a few pictures from our outing!
Hope you enjoyed! I cant wait to show you my next practice session! :)

Here is the oldest of the children, "C". He is a very good big brother. Watching him interact with his sisters made me remember all of the fun/crazy times my brother and sister and I had together growing up!
This is "M", the oldest girl and middle child. She is a super talented goofball.
Seriously. This kid cracks me up!

And here is the youngest of the bunch, "E". She is just the sweetest, cutest thing in all the land. I love her cute little attitude!
And last but not least, my favorite image of "E".
I just thought this was hilariously adorable!

Short and Sweet
Each year our Christmas tree is decorated with white lights, blue and silver ornaments and some scattered icicles.. Don't get me wrong, I love the blue and silver theme we have going on, but I am about ready for a change. I just want something different. Daniel does not know it yet, but I am going to attempt to change the look of our tree this year.
Here is the problem. I have NO idea what I want. So I would love it if you guys would help me out! Tell me what your tree looks like, what you think my tree should look like, or just your favorite tree "theme". Should I stick with a color theme or should I have a lot of random ornaments?
I am dying for some input. Don't let me down. :)

Take Two
Remember Tara? Well, Hayley and I were able to finish up her session last week! Due to the lack of sunlight and the lack of experience on my part, there were quite a few pictures that did not turn out so great. But I just loved these two images, so I wanted to share them with you. You know, so you can be in awe of Tara's beauty. :)
Hope everyone has a Happy Tuesday!

Halloween 2009
Since the beginning of time, or at least the beginning of our relationship, Daniel and I have had some pretty crappy Halloween experiences.
What? You want to hear all about them? Alright, alright. Calm down. You guys sure are persistent. :)
Titus Halloween Experiences:
2005- We were engaged and this was the first Halloween we spent together. We were super excited about handing out candy to the kids in the neighborhood. Since I was not yet living in Daniel's duplex (due to the whole fact that we weren't married), Daniel supplied the candy. Neither one of us were aware as to how many kids lived in that neighborhood, so we ran out of candy within the first half hour. It was quite depressing. Daniel refers to it as the year that he ruined Halloween. He actually took it pretty seriously. He spent the rest of the evening sulking and watching Nightmare Before Christmas.
2006- This was our first Halloween as a married couple. We had a clean slate with the whole Halloween thing. We were living in a new house in a new neighborhood and none of the kids knew about our lack of candy from last year. We stocked up and had candy coming out of our ears. At this point we were on our eleventh month of marriage and had found out two weeks earlier that we were pregnant with our first baby. That evening I had a miscarriage.
2007- We live across the street from a mega church. Every year they have a massive fall festival type thing (thousands of people come to this) and this particular year they held it on Halloween. We enjoy the festival and we even attended it that year (since it was Zachariah's first Halloween. He was 7 weeks old), but we came home early and anxiously waited on trick or treaters to come knocking on our door. But they never came. The dang event stole all of our trick or treaters.
2008- I am honestly not sure if anything depressing happened this year. But nothing exciting happened either. Z wasn't old enough to trick or treat yet so it was just kind of boring.
And that brings us to this year...
2009- Zachariah is two and old enough to trick or treat! We had plans to go to a birthday party and then trick or treating with friends. We were so excited!!! Since we were not going to be home, we had 20 pounds of candy sitting outside of our front door in a cauldron. (We take this candy thing seriously)
Our plan was to leave for the party/ trick or treating after Z woke up from his nap. He woke up with a 102.4 degree fever. We canceled our plans and stayed home. Zachariah was about as pitiful as he could be. He was one of two places all afternoon.
He was either laying on the floor of the kitchen while I fixed dinner...
Or he was on the couch watching The Incredibles while trick or treaters came knocking on our door. His fever was in between 101.4 to 103.2 all afternoon and evening. This morning when he woke up it was down to 100.4. So hopefully we will be fever free at some point today.
Needless to say, this wasn't quite the Halloween that we were expecting, but with our track record we weren't very surprised. Ah well. We will just have to try again next year! :)
