Photography Update

So, for the past however many months I have been teaching myself photography. Well... at least attempting to. Its a little difficult with a toddler nipping at my heels. :)

I have finally been able to take what I have learned and apply it. I took some pictures of a friend and her dog a month ago, and then I forced my cousin into letting me take some pictures of her. I had A LOT of fun both times, and it just made me want to learn even more!

I am no where close to being able to do this professionally, but I would love to one day. I love it. I absolutely love taking pictures. I have SO much to learn though. So I am sharing with you a few of the pictures I took on my first two official shoots (I sound so dorky saying that) so that you can offer up advice or tell me how wonderful they are.

HA! Just kidding. Boy I crack myself up.


Here are a few pictures I took of Sydney. She is a sweet dog who is VERY loved by her owner. Oh, and she loves to stick her tongue out. :)









And here are a few pictures of my cousin, Miranda. I was able to kidnap her a couple weeks ago before she left for college. She was very gracious to let me drag her all over downtown in the 95 degree heat. Oh the joys of living in the south.








As I said, I know I am not anywhere close to being a professional, but I am having so much fun with this. Even if I am an amateur. I love learning each time I go out and take pictures.

And weather you like it or not, I will be keeping you posted on further photography endeavors. Because this is my blog, and I can do whatever I want.
