Let me start off by saying that I am absolutely dreading the "Terrible Two's". Zachariah has been showing his not-so-sweet-side here recently, and I am not a fan. He is starting to throw tantrums and get really ticked when I tell him "no". Not even a month ago he would stop dead in his tracks when I would call his name in a disapproving tone. Now, I can tell him no, pop his hand, raise my voice, and he will do one of two things. Scream and try to hit me (or run far away from me, whichever is easier at the time), or smirk and keep doing whatever it is he is getting in trouble for. Don't get me wrong, he has a ton of sweet moments during the day. But I am not looking forward to the temper getting worse.
Now that you have a little background, I can continue on with my post. :)
This morning I was doing laundry (an annual occurrence in this house), and Zachariah decided he wanted the laundry bag I was holding. So naturally, he goes to snatch it from my hands. Well, I am sure enough not giving it to him, so I hold onto it and tell him that he cant have it right now. Then comes drama. He flings himself into the door frame of our closet door... resulting in a nice goose egg on his forehead. Thankfully, it wasn't as bad as the first boo boo, but it has left a pretty nice whelp.
So for the record, here are a couple pictures of the wound.
You should know that he generally uses the ice pack for teething. He is not a big fan of putting it on the injury. :)
Ha! That'll teach him!
ReplyDeleteOr, if he's anything like Ty...he'll just do it again tomorrow.
LOL :)
Terrible twos.....shoot me now.
OUCH! maybe Z's terrible two's stage is now and he'll be a perfect angel at 2....maybe??
