Does anyone have any experience with a Swiffer Vac? I really, really, really want to justify buying one. I think it would be a whole heck of a lot easier and quicker than sweeping. Though when I told Daniel this he just busted out laughing. So I wanted to check out here in blogger land to see if anyone has any positive or negative things to say about this lovely product.
Heck yes! I have it and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I have all wood floors, and it is a life saver! I hung a hook for it in my laundry room and keep it plugged in and ready to go. I use it at least 10 times a day. I'm not kidding.
ReplyDeleteWe had one in both of our other houses (in FL and OH) and it worked great. But when i used it at our house here, it sucked. I think it depends on your floors. If you have wood, laminate, or linoleum floors it should work great. Since we have that porous(?) type tile, it doesn't work at all on our floors.
ReplyDeleteBut when i had one, I cleaned the floors a LOT more often just because it was so easy.
Bottom line: tell Daniel you need one. You'll clean more.
:)
Yes...run to walmart & buy one! They are the greatest...it not only gets the dirt up it also gets the dust & hair or other stuff the broom leaves behind. I am a firm believer in the swiffer vac. You can go online at swiffervac.com & get a $5.00 off coupon...it takes several weeks for it to come but it's worth the wait.
ReplyDeletei've never used the swiffer vac. my recommendation is the dirt devil power stick. it's the only thing i use to clean our floors, besides the occasional mopping. all our floors are hardwood and tile except in our master bedroom, which is carpeted. i use the power stick on all those surfaces, and it works fabulously! some friends gave it to us as a wedding gift, and i think of them with great fondness and joy in my heart every time i use it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your feedback everyone! You have been oh-so-helpful! :)
