Calling All Bloggers

I have been made aware by my former friend (just kidding!) that my blog is no longer random. And he is right. It has definitely switched gears since having a baby. It went from "Random Conglomeration of Stuff", to "Everything Zachariah". So I don’t think it deserves the title “Randominity” any longer! But here is the kicker. I can’t come up with a clever/cute/non-boring title for my blog.

So I am calling on all you people of bloggerland to help me out. Yes that means you. I am in a creative dry spell, and all of you "blog stalkers" need to come out of the woodworks for this one. Dig deep into that creative part of your brain and give me some suggestions on renaming my blog!

Lately its been really hard to take a bad picture of Zachariah. It took 7 months, but he has finally been participating really well when I bring out the camera! So, I couldn't help but post our latest pictures for all to see! I swear, he is turning into a little man. :)

You know those times when you think something is really, really funny and then you look back on it and you have no idea what was so funny about it?

Yeah. Well that happened to me last night. I had the urge to take this random picture, and I cant figure out why the heck I thought it was funny.

Zachariah is loving bath time now! I guess it happened when he could start sitting up on his own. Let me tell you, it is A LOT less stressful for me when he actually sits there playing instead of laying there screaming. I don't dread bath time anymore!

Next Blog

I made an accidental discovery today.

I was viewing my blog, to make sure it posted my stuff correctly, and I accidentally clicked the “Next Blog” button on the top left-hand side of the screen. It took me to this blog, and I found it absolutely fascinating. This woman lives in Japan, and her whole blog is in Japanese. Obviously I cant read a blessed thing, but I got caught up in looking at the pictures she has posted. Most pictures are of her kids (who are ADORABLE by the way), but in some of them I could see different rooms of her home and the way it was decorated. It was kind of neat.

I think I am going to put her on my igoogle and check back every now and then. I know, I know. This makes me an official blog stalker. But I have been straddling the fence for a while now, so I need to make it official anyway. Who knows, maybe I will try and learn some Japanese while I am stalking!

Sleep at Last!

It took six and a half looooong months, but Zachariah is FINALLY sleeping all the way through the night! For the past week he has slept from 8:30(ish) to 8:00(ish). He may wake up once or twice during the night because he cant find his paci, but as soon as I give it to him is is asleep again! (which is the main reason I wanted thumb sucking, but oh well.)

Getting a good nights sleep is glorious!

Hair Cut?

I am getting a haircut sometime in the near future. I am tossing around the idea of going short. Not short-short. Just shorter. I cant decide though. I LOVE my hair long. But I think that's because long hair is what I am used to. It would be nice to go short so that Zachariah cant pull on it as easily... but I don't know if I want to take that step. It would take so long for me to grow it back!

So short hair or long hair? Pros and cons from those who have the different lengths?

Physical Activity... Or Lack Thereof

Recently I have had this weird longing to be physically active. You know, exercise on a semi-regular basis. I don’t know why I want to exercise. I mean, it might have something to do with me feeling guilty about the 382 pounds of junk food I consume each day, but I am not too sure. The most physical activity I do is walking about three times a month. And that’s if you count the walk to the mailbox and back. So needless to say, I am in desperate need of something to do to burn calories. Because the chances of me changing my diet/eating habits are slim to none.

So I can’t figure out anything that I would stick with. Gym memberships cost to much, and I wouldn’t want to leave my child in the crappy “child care” arena that they provide. And my prime energy time is in the mornings, so Daniel isn’t home to keep Zachariah. If I go strolling with Zachariah, I only walk for 10 min. because of boredom.

Good News

Zachariah's days of being camera shy are over! (Or at least he has put them on the back burner.) Now when he sees the camera he actually poses.

Its fabulous.

I swear he gets cuter and cuter every single day.
